Creative blocks rarely come from a lack of ideas — they come from a nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight. When your body is bracing, your mind narrows. When your breath shifts, everything else follows. This workshop is a hands-on introduction to using breathwork as a creative tool, whether you're a writer staring at a blank page, a designer hunting for the next direction, or a musician trying to break a loop. We'll start with the science: how breath patterns directly influence vagal tone, heart rate variability, and the brain states associated with insight and flow. You don't need to memorize any of it — but understanding why breathwork works makes it much easier to trust the practice when you need it most. From there, we move into the body. Sabrina will guide you through three distinct techniques: box breathing for focus and pre-work grounding, coherent breathing for sustained creative stamina, and a gentle conscious connected breathing practice for accessing more intuitive, less filtered ideas. Each technique is demonstrated, practiced together, and debriefed so you understand when and why to reach for each one. The final section is about integration. We'll talk about building a 5-minute pre-creative ritual, what to do when breathwork brings up unexpected emotions (it often does), and how to layer these practices into the rhythm of a working week without it becoming another item on your to-do list. Come with a quiet space, a glass of water, and something comfortable to sit or lie on. No experience needed.
