Brett Castro

Music Producer, Vocal Producer, Arranger

Brett Castro is a music creative from Cleveland, Ohio. He is the founder of Cul-De-Sac Records, a boutique production studio in Brooklyn, NY, and has worked on music for Nickelodeon, AWAL, Forbes Magazine, and artists like Whatever Mike, Dermot Kennedy, Starmaxx, and Victor Perry. Brett graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Recorded Music. During his time at NYU, he arranged for, choreographed, and directed the NYU N’Harmonics, leading the a cappella group to their first ever ICCA world championship in 2019. He has since continued working in a cappella, arranging for clients such as NBC Universal, Hersheypark, NYC Comic Con, and countless groups throughout the country. Outside of music production, Brett stays involved in different corners of the arts. He co-produced and sound designed the world premiere of Untitled 1-5 by Nazareth Hasan at The Shed NYC (2021); he also served as the on-set music director for the short film From The Flesh (2022).
