The Crate Diggin' Workshop: Turn the Music You Already Have Into Content This is the second of three sessions leading into the 24/7 Artists Content Cohort. The focus: most artists think content can only come from new music. It can't. You're sitting on a catalog of released songs, unreleased demos, voice memos, and raw ideas that the internet has never seen. Yudu opens by reframing the word "catalog." You don't need a Michael Jackson back catalog to dig. The second you have one song, you have one. And your old music is new to anyone who hasn't pressed play yet.The session then moves into the catalog audit, a four-tier exercise that exposes how much usable material you already own: released and forgotten (songs you stopped promoting), released and loved (proven to connect), finished but unreleased (done, just sitting there), and raw material (voice memos, demos, hooks, freestyle clips). From there, Yudu shows how to take one song from your audit and run it through the four content buckets from last week (Educational, Story, Comedy and Reaction, Performance) to generate four ready-to-shoot ideas from a single song. He walks the exercise live with four members of the community, so you can see how the same framework works across stages, genres, and comfort levels. The session also covers protecting your unreleased music from AI bots that strip and repost audio (the workaround: upload to your distributor as "unmastered" or "work in progress" to lock in your ISRC and UPC before anyone else can claim it), why Cap Cut and platform-native captions are your friend, and how to write the kind of on-screen text that actually gets a reaction. It closes with a deep conversation on consistency, why posting more often beats posting "perfect," and a bonus assignment: audit your May posts and set a June goal that keeps you consistent or growing.
