The Indie Artist Content System: Treat Content Like the Job It Is This foundational session kicks off the lead-up to the 24/7 Artists Content Cohort. Yudu walks the community through a complete system for approaching content — not as an overwhelming chore, but as a job you can actually enjoy once you find the parts that fit you. The core idea: most artists make content harder than it needs to be. The fix is fewer decisions, not more effort. The session opens by naming the contradictory advice that keeps artists stuck (post daily vs. post quality, one platform vs. many, hashtags or not) and then resets the foundation with three beliefs that have to be in place before any content strategy works — the internet is a timeline, not a TV show, so assume every viewer is seeing you for the first time; your old music is new to someone; and content is the job. From there, Yudu breaks content into four buckets — Educational (saves), Relatable/Story (shares), Comedy & Reaction (views and comments), and Performance (streams) — and introduces the 60/40 rule: once you find a content style that works, do it 6 out of 10 times and test the rest. He reframes the whole game with a key distinction: you're not in the attention business, you're in the feeling business. People come back for how your music made them feel, not for the song itself. The session closes with Mannywellz proven production formula — one location, one session, dozens of posts: pick one intentional location, find 3–5 mini sets within it, shoot each from 3 angles, perform the full song every take, and batch edit with a consistent visual system (same fonts, same color presets). Three angles across three mini sets across four song sections = 36 pieces of content from a single shoot. Yudu also covers platform-specific leverage tactics (Instagram trial reels, TikTok reposting) and the reminder that tactics age out, but the system doesn't.
